Sound too good to be true? Then it probably is (or it’s unhealthy), but let me give you a way I helped my friends lose it and quickly – and it doesn’t involve the gym!
But before I get to the HOW – let me just remind you of stuff you already know. When we carry extra weight we are increasing the stress on our joints and our back and neck. Right? Not to mention, it makes us more tired and winded when climbing a flight of stairs. It slows us down.
Well, if you can find a way to minimize the weight of your wallet and purse – you could benefit your body in the same way as removing 3 – 10lbs of weight off your joints, back, head, neck and shoulders!
Here’s how my friends lost weight in 30 seconds.
Now I’m not suggesting you lose your beautiful purses, but #ditchthebulk. Here are 3 easy steps:
- Clean your purse like you would a closet. Pull everything out, and only put back what is really necessary.
- Don’t forget to clean your wallet the same way. It’s amazing what collects inside a wallet. And the bigger they are, the more they collect unnecessary junk.
- Consider creating an organized space inside your car for the things you may need sometimes, but not necessarily in your purse – like your makeup bag, extra shoes (Ha! – yes, some ladies carry extra shoes in their purse!) a charging cord, a book etc.
A friend recently mentioned, “I looked inside my 50lb purse the other day and found my daughter’s entire purse and my other daughter’s volley ball uniform!” She said she felt like Mary Poppins; amazing what she was able to carry in her bag!
